These are so beautiful. We bought this because the clean up for real wood was too much and our house would always smell Smokey for awhile even though we have our chimney inspected and cleaned! My in laws have glass in their fire place and it’s so gorgeous. We did not buy enough (only 20 pounds) and it does not cover enough. I would say we need 40 pounds total to cover well? See picture! But what is covered is so beautiful with the fire. It’s so much easier with the gas hook up and these glass fire pieces.
