The appliance opening is 38.25 × 20.75 × 8.25 inches (width × depth × height) for a noncombustible enclosure. This is the cutout, not the overall appliance size. A required insulating liner uses a different opening. Confirm all clearances, ventilation and utility connections in the manufacturer documents before construction.
