How fast do quick-ship doors actually arrive?
Quick-ship doors leave our warehouse in 2-6 business days. Continental US ground shipping adds 3-7 days depending on zip code. Most customers have their door in hand within 5-12 business days from order. Expedited shipping is available at checkout.
Are quick-ship doors lower quality than custom?
No — they're the same Stoll Columbia, Hearthcraft Ardmore, and Pilgrim Armitage frames we sell as custom. The only difference is that quick-ship inventory is pre-built in standard sizes (36×26, 38×26, 40×26, 42×30) and stocked in popular finishes.
What sizes are available in quick-ship?
The most common masonry openings: 36×26, 38×26, 40×26, 40×28, 42×28, and 42×30. If your opening matches one of these to within 1/2 inch on each side, an overlap-fit quick-ship door will work. Outside that range, you need a custom build.
Can I return a quick-ship door if it doesn't fit?
Yes — quick-ship doors carry a 30-day return window. Custom doors are non-returnable because they're built to your specs. If you're uncertain, order quick-ship first; if it doesn't fit, return it and order custom.
What finishes are available in quick-ship?
Black, oil-rubbed bronze, antique brass, and pewter — the four most-ordered powder-coat finishes. Premium plated and rare finishes are custom-build only. The product filter shows available finishes per frame style.
Is quick-ship the same as in-stock?
Yes — "quick-ship" tagged doors live in our warehouse and ship same-day or next-business-day. We refresh stock weekly. If a quick-ship door shows out of stock, the product page suggests the closest custom equivalent with a real-time ETA.
