The Split Oak Gas Log Set is a vented ceramic log set that looks just like real split oak burning in your fireplace. Each log shows the exposed grain and cleanly split faces of seasoned firewood, paired with the deep, defined bark of true oak. Designed for single-face fireplaces, the set is hand tinted through Formation Creation's seven-step coloring process so the wood reads as natural whether the flames are lit or not.

Vented gas logs require an open damper and functioning chimney. They produce the most realistic flame but vent heat up the chimney.

Ventless (vent-free) gas logs operate with the damper closed and send all heat into the room. They include an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) for safety. Check local codes — some areas restrict ventless use.

See-through gas logs are designed for fireplaces open on two sides. They require specific burner configurations and venting on both sides.

All gas log sets ship free within the contiguous US. Most orders ship within 1–2 weeks. 30-day return window on unopened items. Custom configurations may not be returnable.
