You can also add convenience and functionality to your Country Oak Deluxe Vented Gas Log Set with a Smart-Remote! Integrated Bluetooth technology allows you to connect the device to a home automation system and control the fire using your smartphone from anywhere inside or outside of the house. The Smart-Remote comes with a standard on/off function, while smartphone settings include on/off controls, a timer, a thermostat, and the ability to schedule specific programs. To use the Smart-Remote or smartphone feature, you will need a USB connection and a 110-volt power supply. Remote selection is only compatible with Millivolt Ignition. In the event of a power outage, an on/off switch is located on the Smart-Remote's receiver for easy manual operation.

Vented gas logs require an open damper and functioning chimney. They produce the most realistic flame but vent heat up the chimney.

Ventless (vent-free) gas logs operate with the damper closed and send all heat into the room. They include an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) for safety. Check local codes — some areas restrict ventless use.

See-through gas logs are designed for fireplaces open on two sides. They require specific burner configurations and venting on both sides.
