Choose gas for a quick dinner, or cook with charcoal and hardwood when you want to spend more time over the fire. The Encore 36-inch gives you a multi-fuel cooking station for your outdoor island.
Built around the way you cook
- Fuel trays support gas, charcoal and hardwood cooking; follow the manual for loading and lighting solid fuels.
- Interior halogen lights help you see the cooking area after sunset.
- An included rotisserie kit, griddle and drop-in infrared sear burner give you more ways to prepare a meal.
What’s included
Grill, vinyl grill-head cover, rotisserie kit, grate-lifting tools, stainless steel griddle, drop-in infrared sear burner, glove set, wood-and-charcoal fuel kit and care kit. The outdoor island, cart and insulating liner are separate.
Choose your fuel
Select natural gas or propane to match your supply. The hybrid design also supports solid-fuel cooking using the manufacturer’s fuel trays. Have your installer confirm the gas type and connection requirements before ordering.

Plan your installation
For a noncombustible island, the grill cutout is 35 inches wide × 25 inches deep × 15 inches high. These are the grill-head opening dimensions. A combustible enclosure needs a compatible insulating liner with its own larger cutout. Check the complete drawing and manual before construction.
